Hey! I’m Shelbi..

…And tattooing has been part of my life for over a decade.

I spent most those years working at a shop in Forest Lake, learning, growing, and building relationships with clients who trusted me with some of the most meaningful pieces of their stories. Over time, I felt a pull to do more — to create a space where I could slow down, have more control over the experience, and give my clients the level of care and focus they truly deserve.

With the encouragement and support of my husband — along with an incredible circle of family and friends — I took that leap and opened Bound Raven Studio. This studio is more than a place to get tattooed. It’s a space built on trust, intention, and respect, where every tattoo is treated as something personal and permanent, not rushed or mass-produced.

Outside of the studio, my life is rooted in family and the outdoors. I spend my time with my husband and three amazing kids, doing just about anything that gets us outside — raising animals, caring for our chickens, ice fishing, crafting, and gathering with family whenever we can. That lifestyle keeps me grounded and present, and it heavily influences the way I approach my work.

In 2025, I married my best friend, and together we continue building a life centered on creativity, hard work, and authenticity — values that are deeply woven into Bound Raven Studio.
